I love the cowardly knight's expression! I'm playing D&D for the first time in my life (play-by-post) and we actually had a knight ducking behind a table during an encounter that almost got party members killed.
I love D&D cartoon...I am a fan since memorable times!Love the expression of Presto, always taking things out and wrong from his hat!
How I love to see the final episode entitled "Requiem"finished...my favorite episode are "The dragon's graveyard"and "the Box",In the box they finally gets home...but just for a short time!
This serie was awesome, full of action and great characters!
Your pic is terrific, well done and fantastic!!!Keep it up!!
Awesome pic. I love how you manage a sort of frieze of all the characters, while still making their poses dynamic. Well done. I must admit, I am a bit alarmed at Diana's Rob Liefeld-ish thighs, particularly the left one; I'd be inclined to transfer a bit of that flesh to Bobby's legs and maybe to Hank's calves. But that's a minor cavil in a picture that is both exciting and very expressive of the characters. So, again, well done.
I figured she was the the strong one, so I would exaggerate it or something. As for starting the show with them actually PLAYING the game... would have made more sense to me. Even as a kid I wondered about that.
Yeah, it’s funny that the game was back-pedaled to an extent in the cartoon. I’ve seen old gamers who have complained “That old kid’s cartoon was nothing like the game!” On the other hand, I know fans of the cartoon who were glad that there was no more of that geeky game in it. Considering that so many cartoons back then were being denounced as “thirty-minute toy commercials,” I suspect the guys at TSR, Marvel, and CBS were trying to tone down the game aspects of the show—which principally show up in the monster designs, many of which come right out of the game’s sourcebooks, especially the first Monster Manual and the Fiend Folio.
Anyway, keep up the good work. We need more good action-adventure artists out there!
